After defeating the Warriors of Arapahoe in the first round, the Vikings fell in the second round to Southern Valley. They will be playing the Medicine Valley Raiders in the RPAC East Consolation Game on Friday, January 30th at 6:00 pm at the Southwest High School in Bartley. Go Vikings!
The Lady Vikings remained on a roll Monday night as they swept past the Trojans with a 41-28 victory to advance to the semi-final rounds of the RPAC tourney. The Vikings will play Southern Valley at Southwest High School in Bartley at 7:45 on Thursday, January 29th. Updated brackets can be obtained by following the link below. The BCSVSO is sponsoring the Garrett Pac Project or G-PAC. This project is designed to help children like Garrett Scholz who are hospitalized for long-term stays in the hospital.
The challenge is for each class is to gather as many small toy items as possible to distribute to children with long term illnesses while they are in the hospital. This helps them pass the time for the days in the hospital can get extremely long. We are challenging each student to bring at least two items.
These items need to be brand new due of the health of the kiddos and hospital policy. Garrett Scholz will be our ambassador in delivering these items to the Children’s Hospital in Omaha.
The list of acceptable items include but not necessarily limited to: Slinkies , nail polish, new pens or pencils, small notepads, plastic toy/farm animals, mini play-doh, Hello Kitty items, Lip gloss, hand lotion(small), army guys, yo-yos, Card Games: Hearts, Go Fish, UNO, etc.,Princess items such as: bracelets, necklaces etc., Star Wars items, John Deere/tractor items, $5 gift cards to McDonald’s or other food places, Itunes card, Target cards, $5 gift card to the Medical Center Gift Shop, small puzzles, Hot Wheel cars, small trains, , superhero action figures, Ninja Turtle toys, Paddle Balls, jacks, small items geared to teens, etc.
