This fall the Bertrand High School vocal students went to the High School RPAC Choir competition. While there, they worked on four different songs to sing with the other schools to perform as one big choir. At the actual program each school sang one song of their own and then finished the concert by doing the four songs they rehearsed all day.
Then on March 21st the students went to the High School RPAC Band where they had the same kind of format.
The High School band and choir performed at the District Music competition on April 23rd and 24th. The band performed two songs that gained them a 2 rating. While the choir performed three songs and gained a 2 rating as well.
Then on April 19th the High School band and vocal performed at the Spring Concert. The band performed the same two songs as they did at District Music and the choir performed three new songs. They both did very well and the choir had a lot of fun performing their new upbeat songs.
